  5.         Skyland's Star is written in a language we specially developed for
  6. writing text adventure games.  Ten months of (unpaid) programming time
  7. went into the writing of Skyland's Star.  As a result, we ask that if you
  8. enjoy playing Skyland's Star, please register it.  This will entitle you to:
  9.  
  10.             - Receive a printed copy of the manual
  11.             - Obtain future releases of the game
  12.             - Obtain maps, clues, and solutions to the game
  13.  
  14.         The registration fee for Skyland's Star is $15.00.  To register,
  15. print out this file and send in the order form.

  22. Skyland's Star is a copyrighted program.  It is not public domain software.
  23. If you obtained it from a friend, bulletin board, shareware vendor, or any
  24. other source, you have an unregistered copy.  You are authorized to use the
  25. program for a trial period of ONE (1) week for no charge.  If, after the one
  26. week trial period, you decide you wish to continue using the program, you must
  27. register the program to continue using it.

  29. You make as many copies of Skyland's Star as you wish for personal use.
  30. You may freely distribute these copies to others, but must include all of the
  31. original files on the Skyland's Star disks, including this file (README).
  32. These copies given to others are unregistered, and the new users are subject
  33. to the above trial period.

  35. Daniel Berke and Matthew Engle, doing business under the name Castle Software,
  36. make no warranty of any kind.  Skyland's Star is sold AS-IS and is not
  37. responsible for damages due to improper use of the software.  We will provide
  38. upgrades of Skyland's Star to registered users whenever bugs are found and
  39. removed.
